Giving 10%: Only to the church or split with other organizations?

I believe Christian generosity shouldn’t be limited strictly to the local church. For example, if someone gives 5% of their income to their church and 5% to other organizations or directly to people in need, I feel that still honors the heart behind biblical generosity. That said, I know some hold the view that the first 10% (the tithe) should specifically go to the church, and anything beyond that is considered additional giving. I don’t personally agree, but I’m curious to hear from others who see it differently. What are your thoughts? Are there specific Bible verses or principles you’d point to in support of either side?

Long term fallout to Charlie Kirk's death

I think it's objectively obvious to say that after Charlie Kirk's assassination there has been a spike in Christians wanting to get involved in politics. Particularly in TP USA. Personally, I've already seen some of that hype drop but it seems like there may be a baseline impact that will not go away. I'm curious to hear others thoughts on this. Do you think the fallout will be long lasting and be a "Turning Point" that we will look back at? Or given a few years it will largely go back to the way things were before? Would love to hear what you think based on conjecture and personal experiences.
